Baitabox is both made from Cardboard & Plastic materials which are either Recyclable or Biodegradable, though the box may not be as rigid and strong as more expensive lockable stations, baitabox units add more value in our price and having incisions on the box allows for the box to be anchored with cable ties to smaller more narrow spaces larger lockables can not be placed due to their size restrictions.

1. Baitabox can be Anchored Vertically without the bait dislodging from the internal housing.

       2.   Here, you can anchor baitabox on a horizontal pipe common pathways                   and nimble enough not to move.

          3.  Baitabox is also ideal for the top of fence lines where rodents scamper                   across as fences can easily allow access to the roof eaves and                               eventually the roof cavity.  .

Translocation of toxic baits.

One of the obvious safety concerns with the older cardboard bait box designs is the function of housing loose baits inside, this creates a hazard for the baits to fall out of the box becoming transit from the intended location, This is what we call Translocation. It's also referred if rodents are able to move the loose bait from the bait box to another location. 

Baitbox's bait secure design safely and securely houses bait block inside the box without the bait coming loose when rodents are gnawing on the bait, this distinct advantage removes the translocation problem and makes it much easier to determine if the baits have actually been consumed and not hauled away where it could potentially be eaten by non-target animals such as pets, native animals and even children.

It's important to follow baitabox's directions for use label so unintended hazards are avoided. The following directions will help you to apply the baitabox product in the most ideal areas that will have the most impact but also minimise any potential risk to ourselves, our pets, wild life and our environment.

• Use only in concealed areas such as Roof or Subfloor Cavities, internal cupboards under sinks but where the cupboard can be locked.
• In discreet areas where children, pets or non target animals can not access the baitabox freely.
• Do not apply in any area where there have been recent access by a possum of any other native animal.
• Do not apply baitabox in an open area that is obvious to children.
• Always use the tamperproof seal.
